Benitatxell expands the acclaimed 'Tasta l'estiu' cycle with new local products and five experiences

  • After selling out in a few days in its last edition, the Department of Tourism consolidates this format that this year combines wine, elaborations with carob, craft beer and honey
  • Registration will open in a staggered manner and will have a price of 3 euros

El Poble Nou de Benitatxell is once again strongly committed to sustainable, ethical and local tourism for the summer season. The Department of Tourism has announced the second edition of ‘Tasta l’estiu’, an experiential cycle that returns after last year’s resounding success, when it reached the capacity of all its sessions in a matter of days. On this occasion, the initiative is renewed and grows from four to five dates, opening its gastronomic range beyond wine to give prominence to other star products of La Marina Alta.

The cycle maintains the spirit of its parent campaign, ‘Tourism to breathe. Meditate it here’, which seeks to connect the visitor with nature and native customs through a leisure model and away from the crowds. However, the format evolves: if last summer was focused exclusively on organic wineries, in 2026 attendees will be able to enjoy tastings of wine, craft beer, honey, carob products and other delicacies from the region.

Experience Calendar

All scheduled appointments will be held at 8:30 p.m. in the emblematic setting of the Church Square, configuring the following agenda:

  • Friday, June 19th: Wine tasting by the local association BioMoscatell.
  • Thursday, July 9th: Craft beer tasting by Cervezas Althaia.
  • Thursday, July 16th: Tasting of products with carob from La Penya.
  • Thursday, August 6th: Tasting of local honey with Mel del Poble Nou.
  • Wednesday, August 19th: Tasting of wines and traditional products with Melicatessen.

«This resource not only seeks to promote a different kind of tourism, away from overcrowding and in connection with nature, but also all the activities that are part of this proposal are linked to an ethical component, which is very necessary to introduce in current tourism. It seeks not only personal well-being but also that of the place being visited, protecting the cultural and natural heritage of the destination and respecting the way of life of the local population, taking into consideration their language, traditions, customs or quiet way of life,» recalled the Councilor of Tourism, Víctor Bisquert.

Registration

To guarantee optimal management and avoid absenteeism, this year the experiences will have a price of 3 euros per person (with the exception of the BioMoscatell tasting, which will be free). In order to facilitate the entire public, registrations will be made in a staggered manner: right now the reservation is open exclusively for the first appointment (June 19th), while the forms for the rest of the sessions will be enabled consecutively on the Monday after the celebration of the previous experience.

The booking process requires that, once the form has been completed through https://esdeveniments.benitatxell.es/, payment is made by bank transfer to ES74 0182 5596 9802 0800 0021 (BBVA), within a maximum period of 48 hours. Subsequently, the bank receipt must be sent to the email turisme@elpoblenoudebenitatxell.com indicating the name and surnames of the registered people. For the convenience of groups and families, a single person may make the payment and provide the receipt on behalf of several attendees.
