El Poble Nou de Benitatxell retakes the cycle of meditations 'Breathe the summer' as a commitment to conscious and respectful tourism

  • Enclaves such as El Portalet, Moraig cove, Morro Roabit, Les Fonts Park and Pous de l’Abiar will host these meditations guided by Carlos Ciller and Natalia Escuredo

El Poble Nou de Benitatxell continues strengthening its strategic commitment to a healthy lifestyle model and conscious tourism. Under the institutional project ‘Tourism to breathe. Meditate here’, the councillorship of Tourism redirects its itinerant summer offer ‘Breathe the summer’, thought as a natural extension and connected to the monthly practice circle of the ‘Dojo Benitatxell’ programme that takes place throughout the year. This transversal formula guarantees a formative and spiritual continuity for both the local residents and visitors.

To make this possible, the municipality once again entrusts the leadership of its sessions to specialists Natalia Escuredo and Carlos Ciller, who guide both initiatives and consolidate the brand. Taking care of your body and mind is not limited to the holiday season. Dojo offers regular meetings every month, but with the arrival of the summer months, the practice is moved outdoors in small groups to minimize the environmental impact and value the landscape patrimony of the municipality. The sessions, also free, will be held on Fridays, at 7:30 p.m., in an itinerant way:

  • Friday, June 26th: ‘Breathe El Portalet’ (Meeting place: Church
    Square).
  • Friday, July 10th: ‘Breathe the Moraig’ (Meeting place: car park of Moraig Cove).
  • Friday, July 31st: ‘Breathe the Roabit’ (Meeting place: Thomas Wilson Street, next to the paddle court bar).
  • Friday, August 14th: ‘Breathe Les Fonts’ (Meeting place: Les Fonts park).
  • Friday, August 28th: ‘Breathe l’Abiar’ (Meeting place: Pous de l’Abiar).

Registrations

Due to the characteristics of the spaces, places are limited. Signing up is free and can be processed through the Council’s registration page: https://esdeveniments.benitatxell.es/.

In order to facilitate the entire public, registrations will be made in a staggered manner: right now the reservation is open exclusively for the first appointment (June 26th), while the forms for the rest of the sessions will be enabled consecutively on the Monday after the celebration of the previous experience. All information is also centralised in the www.turismeperarespirar.com website.

«Our commitment to well-being is a firm commitment throughout the year. By combining the permanent activity of Dojo Benitatxell with the summer cycle, we generate a habit of health and mutual respect. This resource seeks to promote a different tourism, away from overcrowding and in connection with nature, respecting the way of life of the local population, their language, traditions and customs,» said the Councilor of Tourism, Víctor Bisquert.
