The Councillorship of Youth launches, one more year, mobility grants for students in the municipality. This subsidy will benefit university, master’s, baccalaureate and intermediate and higher level training cycle students. Likewise, those students who do not use the already subsidised bus transport to the IES Teulada will also be eligible for this help.
The budget for these grants remains at 4,500 euros, with a maximum amount per application of 180 euros. «It is essential to support our students so that they can continue their education without mobility costs being an impediment,» said Mayte Roldán, Councillor of Youth. «We want to contribute to alleviating the economic burden of families and ensure that no young person is left without opportunities due to lack of resources,» she added.
To benefit from these scholarships, you must be registered at El Poble Nou de Benitatxell since the year prior to the call and not exceed thirty years old. In the case of high school or vocational training students, it is required to be enrolled in the 2025/2026 academic year and to have passed at least 50% of the subjects.
University students will have to be enrolled in Spanish centres valid throughout the national territory and have passed a minimum of 35 credits. If they are in the last year of studies, they will have to pass as many credits as those enrolled. In addition, master’s degree students will have to have obtained the accrediting qualification to qualify for these grants.
Applications can be submitted until November 9th (one month from the publication of the call in the BOP) through the electronic office or in person at the Citizens Attention Office (Escoles Street, 2), from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The necessary documentation and forms can be downloaded at the following link: https://elpoblenoudebenitatxell.com/es/eventos/ayudas-de-transporte-para-estudiantes/
