As a municipality that forms part of the network of Elder Friendly Cities, El Poble Nou de Benitatxell continues to make progress towards achieving the objectives set by the WHO for the decade of Healthy Ageing within the framework of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
A few days ago, the councillor in charge of the Elderly, Isa Garrido, and the coordination of the project held several participatory meetings with associations and agents involved with the elderly, such as the Association of Retired People and Pensioners, Caritas, the Women’s Association, EUWMA, Civil Protection, Josefa García Gilabert and Sandra, the person in charge of coordinating the Home Help Service (SAD).
