As every summer, the Councillor of Education of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, in collaboration with the AMPA of the CEIP Santa María Magdalena, offers the Educational Summer School to contribute to the conciliation of family and work life and to offer the youngest ones a space for leisure and fun.
The school will start on June 24th and finish on August 30th. Under the slogan ‘Benitatxell, a l’estiu, riurau riu’, the educational projects company Reinventa’t, which has been in charge of the different local recreational schools for some years now, presents a programme to work on popular historical culture with the riurau as a common topic. Some of the general objectives of the project are to get to know the characteristic elements that make up the village landscape, the living histories, the way of life and celebrations of yesteryear, and to experience the explosion of local flavours, etc.
It will cost 120 euros per month, 80 euros per fortnight and 50 euros per week from June 24th to 28th. This year we will once again offer a canteen service, which will extend the stay of the youngest children from 2pm to 5pm. It will have an additional price of 6 euros per day, and will be subject to the enrolment of a minimum number of children.
Enrolments can be made online from 9:30am on Monday 17th until 2:00pm on Friday 21st, or in person at the Citizens’ Attention Office on June 17th and 18th, from 9:30am to 1:30pm. Places are limited and preference will be given to students registered in the municipality. It is necessary to attach the bank receipt.
