7.30 pm. Modern dance and ballet performance by “Club Multiesport”, and a batucada, children’s band, youth band, Colleta and students from the traditional dance groups, organised by the Music and Dance School of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, at Valencia Avenue (in front of the Local Police Station).
TUESDAY JULY the 21st
11.30 am. Holy Mass, followed by a Triduum in honour of Santa María Magdalena.
8.15 pm. General ringing of the bells.
9.00 pm. The “festeros” collect the “festeras”, accompanied by the Santa María Magdalena Municipal Band of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell.
10.30 pm. Departure of the “festeros” and “festeras” from the Town Hall, accompanied by local authorities and those from neighbouring towns, as well as representatives from the committees of other villages, accompanied by “Agrupación Cultural de Teulada” and “Colla La Llebetjà”.
11.00 pm. “Festeros” and “Festeras” 2026 “L’Aspardenyà” Presentation and Opening Speech of the festivities at at the car park on Valencia Avenue.
The festivities begin with one of the most moving events on the festivitie calendar: the 2026 “festeras” and “festeros” presentation, a night of reunions, hopes and shared emotions that will mark the start of the journey towards our festivities.
The opening speech will solemnly and emotionally announce the arrival of a few days that transform the streets into spaces of togetherness, music and tradition. An event where words, light and memories will come together to celebrate what unites us as a community.
The evening will be accompanied by background music from Agrupación Musico Municipal Santa María Magdalena of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, providing the musical backdrop to a night full of symbolism and emotion.
This will be followed by a ball night with LA PATO orchestra at Valencia Avenue (in front of the Local Police Station).
WEDNESDAY JULY THE 22nd, SANTA MARÍA MAGDALENA
08:00 am. General ringing of the bells.
08:15 am. Awakening by the “festeros” and “festeras”.
11:00 am. The “festeros” will collect the “festeras”, accompanied by the Agrupación Musicomunicipal Santa María Magdalena of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell.
12:00 pm. Solemn concelebrated mass in honour of Santa María Magdalena, sung by the parish choir.
1:00 pm. Fireworks display at the Portalet.
8:00 pm. Parade of the “festeros” and “festeras” from the Casal Fester to the church, accompanied by the “Agrupación Musicomunicipal” Santa María Magdalena.
8.30 pm. Solemn procession in honour of Saint Mary Magdalene, Saint Roch and San Cristóbal, with the participation of “Grup de Danses Morro Falquí”. During the procession, 21 gun salutes will be fired in honour of our patron saint and there will be processional dances by “Grup de Danses Morro Falquí”, accompanied by Colla La Llebetjà.
At the end of the procession, a large vertical digital pyrotechnic display fireworks will be set off by Pirotecnia Vulcano on Les Escoles Street. Spectators are encouraged to head to that street.
12:30 am. Ball at the car park on Valencia Avenue with ‘MATRIX’ Orchestra.
THURSDAY JULY the 23rd, SAN ROC’S DAY AND PEÑAS DAY
08:00 am. Awakenings by the festeros and festeras.
11:00 am. The “festeras” will collect the “festeros” (festeras from previous years are especially invited), accompanied by the brass band.
12:00 pm. Solemn mass in honour of San Roc.
1:00 pm. The festeros leave the mass, accompanied by the peñas, to La Pau Street, with entertainment provided by the brass band.
2.00 pm. STREET “PEÑAS” MEAL: “Fideuà” and “allioli” contest prepared in the street. The contest will take place on La Pau Street and Major Street. The Council will provide tables and chairs while stocks last. Prizes for the best fideuàs of 100, 75 and 50 euros. Prizes for the best aioli: 60, 40 and 20 euros.
5.30 pm. “La Mocha” performance at La Pau street, featuring the Jagger Olympics organised by the “Penya Ja Vorem”.
12.00 am. Performance by GINESTÀ and DJ NONAI SOUND at the car park on Valencia Avenue.
FRIDAY JULY the 24th, SAN CRISTOBAL´S DAY
08:00 am. Awakenings by the “festeros” and “festeras”.
11:00 am. The “festeros” will collect the “festeras”, accompanied by the brass band.
11:30 am. Road Safety activity park organised by the UFEB (Benitatxell School Trainers’ Unit) on La Pau Street.
12:00 pm. Solemn mass in honour of San Cristobal. Following the mass, blessing of vehicles in front of the Town Hall (access via la Mar street).
2:00 pm. Giant paella. Paella will be served at tables on La Pau street and Major street. The Council will provide tables and chairs while stocks last.
5.00 pm. Beer pong organised by Penya Al-balcó.
5.30 pm. Foam Party at Cantonet de Bufó.
11.00 pm. Parade of decorated carts along Alacant Avenue, La Pau Street and Major Street. Following the parade, the FESTA FALKATA ON TOUR mobile disco at the car park on Valencia Avenue.

8.30 pm. Parade of the festival organisers from the Casal Fester to the church, accompanied by the Agrupación Musicomunicipal Santa María Magdalena.
9.00 pm. Solemn procession in honour of St James. At the end, there will be a fireworks display.

12:15 pm. Gathering of the Quintadas on La Pau. This will be followed by a parade with LA TROCAMBA. A bar service will be provided by the Peña Taurina.
6:30 pm. Performance by LA FLAMA Orchestra at the car park on Valencia Avenue.

END OF THE FESTIVITIES
– The “festeros” and “festeras” reserve the right to change or modify any event announced in this programme.
– Any items distributed by the “festeros” and “festeras” will be for the street tables only, whilst stocks last.
– Only authorised individuals with CRE accreditation may take part in the awakening ceremonies.
– In accordance with current regulations, entry to the bulls venue is strictly prohibited for anyone under the 16 years old.
– The setting up of the stands will take place on July 20th and 21st. Dismantling will take place on August 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
– Anyone wishing to take part in the street decoration contest should inform the “festeros” and “festeras”.
