The Local Police of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell has renewed its fleet with two hybrid cars. Through a contract of renting, which allows the replacement of vehicles every 4 years paying a fixed monthly fee, two Toyota RAV4 Hybrid 4×4 models have been acquired. The contract also covers all the costs of maintenance, tyres, insurance, etc.
The model is powered by two different types of engines: on the one hand, an efficient combustion engine and, on the other hand, a powerful electric motor. In this way, the car uses or alternates both sources of energy to move in a more economical and sustainable way. This makes it possible to travel without using petrol or emitting CO₂ into the atmosphere.
