Benitatxell can be enjoyed every month of the year. In order to promote the municipality from different angles, the Tourism Department launched “Despertando los sentidos” (Awakening the senses) in 2025, a series of twelve experiences, one for each month of the year. This year, given the ‘excellent reception’ of all the scheduled activities, as highlighted by the Councillor of Tourism, Victor Bisquert, this formula has been renewed, with the participation of some 200 people throughout the first edition.
The 2026 cycle will begin with the pottery workshop, which will take place next Saturday, January 31st, at 10:00 a.m., at the Municipal Library. The programme also includes an E-bike cycling route (February 28th), a honey-making workshop (March 28th), a homemade soap workshop (April 25th), a wild cooking workshop (May 23rd), a landscape painting workshop (June 27th), a massage workshop (July 18th), the Wine & Painting activity (August 29th), the landscape photography workshop (September 26th), the new Les Pesqueres hiking route (October 31st), the healthy sweets workshop (November 28th), and the Christmas wreath workshop (December 19th).
