Tuesday, March 3rd, 7:00 p.m. – Social Centre: Opening of the photography exhibition “Memoria Viva II” (Living Memory II) by photographer Jake Abbott. Refreshments will be served afterwards. Organised by: Councillorship of Equality.
Wednesday, March 4th, 5:00 p.m. – Departure from the Social Centre: Urban walk and snack (provided by the Women’s Association) at the football field to enjoy the 1st Women’s Football Tournament of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell.
Thursday, March 5th, 4:30 p.m. – Social Centre: Afternoon of games and chocolate snack with mona cake provided by the Women’s Association.
Friday, March 6th
10:00 a.m. – Jávea Golf Club: Morning meeting with inspirational talks by EUWMA: “Women today: anger, voice and change”. Coffee and tea will be served.
10:00 p.m. – Social Centre: Theatre night with the play “Apaga’m que m’encenc” by Rosa J. Devesa (SaludArte Compañía). Organised by: Women’s Association.
Saturday, March 7th, 7:00 p.m. – Social Centre: Screening of the documentary ‘Memoria Viva II’ produced by ‘El Mirall de la Marina’. Organised by: Councillorship of Equality.
Sunday, March 8th. INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY.
1:30 p.m. – Social Centre: Reading of the manifesto for 8M: International Women’s Day.
2:00 p.m. – Social Centre: Fellowship meal organised by the Women’s Association of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell. This will be followed by a dance in the afternoon.
Monday, March 9th, 5:00 p.m. – Municipal Library: Film forum led by Anna Moner. Popcorn will be served. Organised by: Women’s Association.
Tuesday, March 10th, 6:00 p.m. – Municipal Library: Talk by Marina Gilabert, from Clásicas y Modernas: ‘Rights and responsibilities: the return of traditional gender roles among young people’.
