The Department of Economic Promotion is the driver of the economic and social development of the municipality. It plans, manages and offers people, businesses and local businesses programs and services aimed at promoting economic activity and employment. The areas of the Department of Economic Promotion are:
– Area of orientation and job placement: promote the socio-labor insertion of unemployed people, who are looking for a job, through the development of specific actions.
– Area of companies and entrepreneurs: maintain communication with the municipality's companies that allows progress in joint local development processes. Advise entrepreneurs, inform them of the aid they may request, as well as manage and monitor it.
– Trade scope: enhance and promote the commercial activity of the municipality. Encourage town commerce by carrying out commerce animation and promotion campaigns.
– Training scope: inform unemployed or active people about the training they can receive.
– Agricultural field: advice and promotion of native products. Promote the product of the Muscat grape, publicize the organic farming project and the BioMoscatell brand of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell.
