The Councillorship of Youth is launching, once again this year, the mobility grants for students of the municipality. This help will benefit university, master’s, baccalaureate, intermediate and higher education students. Students who do not use the subsidised bus transport to IES Teulada will also be eligible for this help.
The budget for this help is 4,500 euros, with a maximum amount of 180 euros per request. ‘It is essential to support our students so that they can continue their education without mobility costs being an impediment,’ said Mayte Roldán, Councillor of Youth. ‘We want to help alleviate the economic burden on families and ensure that no young person is left without opportunities due to lack of resources,’ she added.
To apply for these grants you must be registered at El Poble Nou de Benitatxell since the year prior to the call for applications and not be over thirty years old. In the case of baccalaureate or vocational training students, they must be enrolled in the 2023/2024 academic year and have passed at least 50% of the subjects.
University students must be enrolled in Spanish centres valid throughout the national territory and have passed a minimum of 35 credits. If they are in their final year of studies, they will have to pass as many credits as they have enrolled. In addition, master’s degree students will have to have obtained the accredited qualification to be eligible for these grants.
Applications can be submitted until November 30 (one month from the publication of the call for applications in the BOP) through the electronic office or in person at the Citizens’ Attention Office ( Escoles Street, 2), from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 2pm.
