- The pick-up points for visitors are: the municipal cemetery, the car parking lot in front of Masymas, the Lady Elizabeth school car parking lot and, finally, the cove.
- This service seeks to relieve the traffic congestion in the coastal area and provide a free alternative to the paying car parking area.
From Friday June 28th until Sunday September 1st, the free shuttle bus provided by the Council of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell will take visitors to Moraig cove.
After the good results of the previous summers, the four pick-up points will be maintained: the municipal cemetery, the car parking lot in front of Masymas, the car parking lot of the Lady Elizabeth school and, finally, the cove.
Regarding the timetable, the bus will leave every morning at 10:00 am from the town centre and will also stop at the car parking lot in front of Masymas, the car parking lot of the Lady Elizabeth school and, finally, the cove. The same route, but in the other way round, will take place at midday, at 2:00 pm. In the afternoon, it will leave at 4:00 pm and return at 6:30 pm.
In addition, every 15 to 20 minutes it will take visitors up and down the beach from the cove’s car parking area to the beachfront. This is a comfortable alternative to the steep slope that is particularly difficult to climb on very hot days, with a hammock and cooler on your back.
This service seeks to relieve the coastal area of vehicles and provide a free alternative to the paying car parking area, thus making it more sustainable for the environment. At the same time, the idea is to promote visits to the town centre.
